Annotation Tools

  • Arrow tool — draw tapered directional arrows to point at anything in a screenshot
  • Rectangle tool — draw outlined rectangles to highlight regions or group elements

Blur Tool

  • Pixelate regions — draw over any area to apply a pixelation blur effect
  • Adjustable pixel size — + / − controls to set block size from 4 px to 64 px
  • Multiple regions — apply as many blur regions as needed on a single image
  • Moveable & resizable — reposition blur regions after drawing using the Pointer tool

Image Editing

  • Crop tool — draw a rectangular selection and apply to trim the canvas
  • Add padding — instantly add 50 px white border on all sides
  • Zoom controls — zoom in/out (+/−), fit-to-screen, and mouse wheel zoom (0.1×–8×)
  • Multi-image canvas — place multiple images on the same canvas and move/resize them independently
  • Image context menu — right-click images to crop individual images within the canvas

Annotation Management

  • Pointer tool — select, move, and resize any annotation or image
  • Layer order — right-click to bring an annotation to front or send it to back
  • In-place text editing — double-click or press Enter/F2 to edit text annotations
  • Delete — select any annotation and press Delete or Backspace to remove it

Image Loading

  • Drag & drop — drop any image file onto the editor
  • File browser — click Browse to open a standard file picker
  • Clipboard paste — press Ctrl+V to paste a screenshot directly from the OS clipboard

Export

  • PNG export — lossless download as image-editor-export.png
  • JPG export — compressed download at 92% quality as image-editor-export.jpg
  • Copy to clipboard — write the finished composited image straight to the system clipboard
  • Composite export — all annotations and blur regions are merged into the final image on export

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z — undo
  • Ctrl+Y / Ctrl+Shift+Z — redo
  • Delete / Backspace — delete selected annotation
  • Enter / F2 — enter text edit mode
  • Escape — commit or cancel text edit
  • Ctrl+V — paste image from clipboard
